Since the age of 13, i’ve been battling mild acne. It seemed that at every transitional stage of my life pimples/acne were there to wreak havoc on my face. Now that i’m in my forties, it’s no different. I know most saw glowing and gorgeous skin when they looked at me and my photos. But, was a struggle to keep it that way.
These days it’s less of a struggle as my skin’s health now primarily thrives from within. I nourish my body daily with organic, antioxidant rich, anti-inflammatory foods.
Here are 5 tips I depend on to help me maintain glowing and gorgeous skin.
♦ Eat foods that are high in antioxidants, including fruits and vegetables. I get most in by juicing.
♦ Consume omega 3 fatty acids in foods like Salmon, sardines, avocados, flaxseeds, walnuts, whole grains & beans.
♦ Drink lots of water to maintain the skin’s hydration.
♦ Avoid or limit processed foods and diary products.
♦ Supplement with B3, B5, B12 Vitamins. You may not need these when you’ve developed a solid nutritional plan. You’ll be getting them in the foods you eat.
The juicer I use; a Breville Fountain
